supports of friends.

Permier the first run of White Tower was hold in a friend‘s rent house which located in Beijing’s famous Bar Street-San Li Tun.
Harter Saloon Harter saloon kicked off its first show by presenting White Tower. It has earned great fame since then. Now it moves from San Li Tun to Beijing emerging arts area Factory798 and is one
of the most active show sites.
“22film” This was a very important and professional projection in the film bar. Most audience is documentary fans and scholars. Dialogue between director and audience was soon spread on internet and
got highly attention for the first time.
“Guess Train” White Tower also entered into the famous documentary film bar in Beijing whose boss is a art chic.
Box café&Fanhall studio Fanhall studio ran the show at Box café. Most of important independent films of China have been invited by them.

Su Qing, Mina: vanguard independent documentary directors, representative production “ White Tower” (85 minutes, DV)
“White Tower” is the first independent film on the lives of the deaf in China. It was made in extremely simple conditions with a great success.
“White Tower” delves into the emotional issues of the deaf. It documents a man’s love story and traces the disillusionment of his pent-up aspirations in reality. The main theme is on the alienation of human feelings under the economic reform in China
and commercialization of society. The natural and simple narration of the film has won the favor of audiences with sweeping praises in numerous film festivals.
Su Qing – Born in 1969 in Inner Mongolia China; Independent Film Maker, now lives in Beijing 2005.Invited by International Documentary Film Festival of Japan,Danmark,Israel;
Working as the director and editer in “Beijing View Point”film producing firm, produced “Cultural relic of China”serial docudrama which for abroad issue;
2004. Invited by International Film Festival of France,Canada,Korea;

2003-2004. Independently shot “Old Tang”,His independently work ‘White Tower is selected in 15th MARSILLE INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL;
2002. Independently shot “White Tower”, which is his first documentary reflecting today Chinese deaf’s life;
1998-2002 Working as the director in Television and film producing firm in Beijing; his work “The melody of striver” was nominated as 2003 China TV Star-Glory awards;

1992. Formed the rock band “Box & Windows” and was the Chief Guitar player;
1990. Graduated from the university with major in railway designing, then worked in coal mine & iron company Mi Na – Born in 1973 in Chongqing China; Graduated from Beijing Fashion design
University and obtained her Bachelor degree of Art Management, now lives in Beijing;
