Biography and filmography of the filmmakers:
Li Xiaofeng ---
An independent filmmaker and film critic. He has got his M.A in film art from the college of communication and art of Beijing Normal University in 2003. Now he is exploring for his PH.D in East China Normal University in Shanghai.
In the aspect of writing, he has been engaged in writing film review for a couple of years and published three books about the World films and Documentary films.
In film making, he has made several short films in Beijing, among which ‘a man sending wishes’ (33min) was awarded the best documentary in the 8th Beijing College Students’ Film Festival in 2001. ‘Walk in the Dark’ is his first long film.
Jia Kai ---
M.A in Film studies, Beijing Normal University. Now she teaches at the college of Communication and Art in Tongji University. She has written two books on film studies. The majors film works she has been involved in includes TV Documentary “Chinese
