What difference has twenty years of democracy in China's 700,000 villages
Made? In this anniversary year of villages voting for their own local leadership, artist and filmmaker Wu wenguang collaborated with EU organizer Jian Yi to answer this question by putting video cameras in the hands of villagers.
A collection of the short documentaries made by ten amateur village filmmakers (ranging in age from 25 to 59) selected from all around China.
